Target Audience

This course is ideal for you if you are new to working within the Health and Social Care sector.  It is also relevent for experienced staff who would like to refresh their knowledge and skills


This course aims to enable you to explore the duties and responsibilities of your role and the standards and codes of conduct that relate to it.  You will consider employer policies and procedures and reflect on how your own experiences, attitudes and beliefs may affect the way you work.  You will consider your employment rights and responsibilities and why it is important to work in ways agreed with your employer.  You will explore the difference between a personal and professional relationship and how to work in partnership with others.
