Target Audience

This course is ideal for you if you are new to working within the Health and Social Care sector.  It is also relevent for experienced staff who would like to refresh their knowledge and skills.

Aims

This course aims to develop your understanding of the importance of good communication  You will  consider the ways individuals communicate and how you can meet their communication and language needs, wishes and preferences effectively. You will learn about the principles and practices related to confidentiality. The course concludes with an exploration of the use of communication aids and technologies.
